Flaxseed Khajur Laddo

Flaxseed laddo is made with Khajur, sugar, ghee and dry fruits.  It is very easy to make, tasty and healthy too. Flaxseed and dates has got many health benefits.  Flaxseed in take controls cholesterol level.   dates are rich in nutrients, vitamins and minerals.  It dietary fiber prevents  LDL cholesterol in the gut.    see the link below for the health benefits of dates.

Flaxseed khajur laddo





Let us have a look at the recipe now:

Ingredients:

10 seedless khajur (brown colour)
3 tbsp flaxseed powder (roasted and powdered)
2 tbsp powdered sugar
6 whole cashew nuts
6 badam
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
a pinch of cardamom powder
3 tsp ghee

Method:

Coarsely grind the cashew and badam and keep aside
Put the Khajur, flaxseed powder, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, ghee and grind till smooth
Mix the badam and cashew powder in it and combine well.

Now make laddos and roll it in the desiccated coconut and serve.


You can add pisatchios also.
