Churma moda is made out of wheatflour, semolina, sugar, ghee. This is yet another varieties of modaks which you can make for Prasad during the ganesh festival.
Let us see the recipe now:
Ingredients;
2 bowls wheat flour
1/2 cup rava (semolina, suji)
11/2 cup pure ghee
2-3 tbsp milk
11/2 cup owdered sugar
1 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 bowl chopped dry fruits
2 tbsp khadi sakkar (cubed sugar) (Kalkandu) (sugar candy)
oil for frying
Method:
Mix together flour, rava, one cup ghee, milk and knead it into a very tight dough using little water. Pepare small balls out of it and deep fry them in ghee on a very low flame until golden brown. Break it and let it cool. grind it in the mixer into a fine powder and mix together all the other ingrdients well and shape into modaks using the modak mould.
Note: the same can be made as ladoos also.
