CHINESE SOUP

My son was down with fever and cold.  He wanted to have some soups.  I had the ready made soup packets at home but he did not want that.  He told me to make some clear Chinese soup.  Luckily, there was some brocoli, cabbage, carrots and beans in the fridge.  He really enjoyed the hot soup which was served to him.

Here is the product down below:

Ingredients:

3 cups water
8-10 broccoli florets
3-4 cabbage leaves
2-3 baby corn
1 onion
1 carrots
5-6 beans
1 tsp ghee or butter
salt

As per requirement and taste:

soya sauce
red chilli sauce
pepper powder

Method:

wash all the vegetables.  cut the cabbage, carrots, onion, baby corn   and beans into long strips or into cubes.
heat the ghee and saute carrots, beans, onion, baby corn   in ghee and keep aside.
in the same kadai, add the florets and cabbage and saute for few seconds and keep aside.
Boil the water add the carrots, onion, beans, baby corns, salt  and cook the same for two minutes.
now add the cabbage leaves, brocoli florets and cook for few seconds.

In a serving bowl, pour the soup, add the sauces and pepper powder as required and serve hot.

Note: You can cook the same in vegetable stock too.
