DIET CHART


Hi viewers,

As requested by two of my friends, i am giving below the diet chart which we (myself and my husband)
follows.

It may vary person to person  hence always check with doctor before you start following this chart as certain things may not be applicable to you.

This chart is prepared considering the following illness : cholesterol, diabetics, heart problems.

DIET CHART




Early morning, 1/2 lime juice in warm water with little salt in empty stomach for reduction of weight.

brisk morning walk for 45 minutes

Tea, breakfast  - upma - 200 gms, idli dosa - 3 nos with sambar chutney, oats porridge, kanda poha, 200 gms.  OR OATS PORRIDGE  7.00 a.m.

9.30 a fruit

11.30 a glass of chaas

1.00 lunch - 3 rotis (without oil) can use little bit of ghee not much. with one cup dal, one cup subzi (100 gms), salads, curd  or Lapsi Khichadi prepared with vegetables.

3.30 pm. 4.00 pm.  munching chana, bhel, khakra etc. (see that it does not contain much oil, fat in it)


7.00 2-3 biscuits (diet friendly) 

9.00 dinner. same as lunch


a glass of milk before going to sleep.  (should use only low fat milk)

avoid sweets, oily, fried items.  Parathas - no potato 

consumption of oil should be restricted  ( for four persons we are using only 1  ltr of olive oil in a month)

remember a small serving of fruit before lunch/dinner helps digestion. do not eat fruit after a meal.


( Do not eat fruits immediately as eating fruits after a meal will cause your stomach to be bloated. Therefore eat fruits 1 to 2 hours after a meal or 1 hour before.)

avoid maida, bakery products, cake, fried foods, coconut  etc.

WE USE OLIVE OIL - FOR FOUR PERSONS ONLY ONE LITRE PER MONTH.  NO FRIED FOODS AT ALL, NO SWEETS, NO RICE.  IF NEED BE EAT BROWN RICE.   HOME MADE LOW FAT GHEE (COWMILK) CAN BE USED LITTLE.
