MASALA ROTI (BEST OUT OF WASTE)



Normal masala papad is enjoyed by everyone. But for health conscious people, it is little bit alarming as it is a fried item.  Masala  Roti  is  made out of left over roti is not only good for health but also healthy for everyone for munching over a cup of tea, before lunch, dinner as a starter.  

This is the contribution of my daughter Aishwarya.







Ingredients:


1.  Crisp roti                                              3 nos.
2.  Tomato    chopped                              1 no
3.  Onion big   chopped                            1 no
4.  cucumber chopped                              1/2 cup
5.  Coriander leaves chopped                   1/2 cup
6.  nylon sev                                              1 cup (optional for health conscious people)


Chilli powder, Black salt and Chat masala as per requirement.

 Method:

1.  Keep the roti in an oven for 2-3 minutes to make them crisp.
2.  Place  the roti on a plate. 
3.   spread tomato, onion, cucumber on it. 
 4.  sprinkle chilli powder, black salt, chat masala as per taste.  
5.  Spread nylon sev on top of it. 
6.  garnish with coriander leaves and serve.


Tips: we can use coriander/mint chutney, sweet chutney, pomegranate, lime juice,  nuts like peanut etc.
