Summer
season is for making Pickles, Vadams, Fryums, Kurudais etc. Normally, I
do prepare only Elai Vadams but this time I tried the Rava Papad. First I made with little quantity only and after frying it, everyone liked it so the recipe is here now.

Let us look at the recipe now:
1/2 Cup Rava / Suji /Semollina
1/2 Tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 Tsp Sesame Seeds
1 Tsp Green chilli paste
Salt
1 -3/4 Cup water
Pinch of Asafoetida
Method:
Step 1
Boil water in a thick bottom vessel. Add Salt,Green chilli paste, Asafoetida and bring to boil.
Step 2
Put the Rava in the boiling water and cook till the rava is cooked. The consistency will be slightly thickened. Switch off gas.
Step 3
Grease a plastic sheet and pour one small laddleful of batter on it. Repeat the process for the remaining batter.
Step 4
Sun dry them for 2 days.
Step 5
Store it in an airtight container and fry them as and when requied.
