BISIBElE BHAT MASALA l HOW TO PREPARE MASALA FOR BISIBELE BHAT

I have already posted recipe of Bisibele Bhat (with Lapsi and Normal rice) and  uploaded Video also in my youtube channel rasavinsuvai.

Here I am sharing only the recipe of Masala for the same.

Let us look at the recipe now:

Ingredients:

4 tsp Coriander seeds


  • 4 tsp Chana dal
  • 2 tsp Urad dal
  • 1 tsp  Cumin
  • ¼ tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper Corns
  • 3 Cardamom Pods
  • 1" Cinnamon
  • 4 Cloves
  • 2 tbsp Dry coconut
  • 2 tsp Poppy seeds / khus khus
  • 1 tsp White Sesame seeds, Til
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 12 - 15 Red Kashmiri  chilli (if you wan spicy bit, add the Hot chilli 6 + 6 Kashmiri chilli)
  • 1 Sprig of few curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida, Hing powder

  • Method:

  • Step 1

  • Dry roast all ingredients separately and transfer to a plate to cool down.

  • Step 2

  • Put oil in kadai.  Add the curry leaves, fry and remove.  Add the  Coconut and roast till brown, remove and keep aside.   Add Red chilli, fry for two minutes and switch of gas.  It will become crisp due to the heat in kadai.

  • Step 3

  • First grind the red chilli.  Then put all other ingredients and make a powder.

  • Our Bisibele Bhat Masala is ready.

  • How to Store:

  • Cool and put in airtight container and keep in fridge.
