EGG DOSA l HOW TO MAKE EGG DOSA l DOSA l BREAKFAST RECIPES

A different variety of Dosa specially for the children is made for my daughter today.  Very simple and easy breakfast recipe with the ingredients available at home.

So do not hesitate, start cooking.

Let us look at the recipe now:

Ingredients:

1 Cup Dosa / Idli batter
2 Eggs
1 Tomato finely chopped
1 Onion finely chopped
Chaat Masala / Black pepper powder / Red chilli Powder
Chopped coriander leaves
Cheese (optional)
Oil / Ghee / Butter

Method:

Step 1

Chop the Onion, Tomato, Coriander leaves and mix well.  Keep aside.

Step 2

Heat Tava.  Spread one laddleful of batter on the tava.  When it is slightly dried up, drizzle oil or ghee or put some butter and spread.  Break one egg and put it on top of the dosa and spread evenly.  Put some tomato onion mix.  Mix the Chaat Masala / Black Pepper Powder / Red chilli powder and sprinkle on top of the tomato mix.  Cover and cook till the egg is cooked.

Step 3

Take out the dosa from tava and it is ready to serve.  Repeat the process for remaining batter.

How to serve:

Serve hot with sauce or chutney as you wish.

Note:  You can also spread some cheese on top of it.
