SHEPUCHE VADE, DILL LEAVES VADA,

Shepuche vade (Dill leaves vade) is made out of dill leaves or shepu in local language with chana dal,urid dal and with some onions chopped.  It is a nice tea time snack during the winter and monsoon.




Dill leaves are very good for health.   helps in digestion and prevents acidity.  See other posts of Dill leaves





Ingredients:

1 handful of shepu
½ cup chana dal
2 tbsp urid dal
2 red chilli
1 green chilli
A pinch of asafetida
 1 onion (optional)
1 tsp saunf
Chopped  curry leaves – 1 tsp
Salt

Method:

Wash and chop the shepu finely.
Wash and Soak the chana dal and urid dal for 1 hr.
Drain it and coarse grind the same along with red/green chilli
Add salt, chopped onion, asafetida, saunf,  chopped dill leaves,  curry leaves and mix well.
Heat oil and make small ball out of it and drop them in the oil.
Fry till golden brown, serve hot.
