ROTI LADOO HEALTHY LADOO (BEST OUT OF WASTE)
When you are having left over rotis, do not worry what to do with it, i am posting various recipes made out of left over rotis. this ladoo with jaggery, dry fruits etc. is one of such dish can be made easily, tasty and healthy too. variations can be made according to your wish.
Preparation time: 10 minutes.
Cooking time: less than 5 minutes
Makes: 6 ladoos.
Ingredients:
6 left over rotis
¼ cup jaggery
A generous pinch of cardamom powder
2 tbsp chopped dry fruits.
11/2 -2 tbsp desiccated coconut or grated kopra
2 tbsp water
Method:
Make pieces of rotis and put it in mixer and grind to a fine powder.
Heat water in the kadai, add jaggery, melt it.
Remove the impurities, if any.
Add the powdered roti, cardamom powder, dry fruits and mix well.
Remove it in a plate and make ladoos out of it. Makes 6 ladoos.
Roll them in the desiccated coconut and serve hot or cold.
This can be given in the tiffin box for children. A healthy tiffin
with dry fruits.
