Methi sprouts are good for health. Today I tried uttappam with broccoli, onion etc. Can be served along with Sambhar and Chutney.
It is very tasty and healthy specially for the diabetic people. Do try and give me feedback.
Let us look at the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup dosa batter
2 tbsp methi sprouts
1/4 cup broccoli chopped
1/2 onion finely chopped or one small onion
Green chilli
Chopped coriander leaves
Oil
Also can add (optional)
garlic chopped
tomaTo chopped
cashew, badam finely chopped
temper with mustard seeds and cumin seeds
Method:
Step 1
Heat tava and put 1 tsp oil in tava. Add the green chilli, onion and saute for a minute. Add the broccoli and methi sprouts. Saute for a minute and transfer into the dosa batter.
If you want to temper with mustard seeds, first put mustard seeds then green chilli, garlic and onion and continue the process. If adding cashew badam, fry them and add it into the batter. Add tomato directly in the batter and mix the batter well.
Step 2
Pour laddle ful of batter and spread. Drizzle some oil. Cook both the sides till done.
How to serve:
Serve hot with chutney/sambhar.
