TOMATO ONION RAVA DOSA

Was very bored to make breakfast because what to make that is a big question mark every day taking into consideration the health issues.  I had made tomato dosa with rice.  thought of trying with rava today and was really overjoyed with the result.

So I am taking you straight into the kitchen to enjoy this delicious dosa without boring you much.

yield : 9-10 dosas


Let us look at the recipe now:

Ingredients:

1 cup rava
2 red chillies
4-5 black pepper (optional)
1 tsp white sesame seeds (optional)
4-5 stems of coriander leaves
few curry leaves
 a small piece of ginger chopped
1 big garlic cloves or 2 small ones
8-10 pudina leaves
2 medicum size onions cut into 8 pcs
2 tomatos cut into 8 pcs
a pinch of asafoetida
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
chopped coriander leaves
salt
oil for making dosa.

Method:

add water in the rava and keep aside.  Grind together all ingredients except chopped coriander leaves, sesame seeds  with 1/4 cup water.  add the rava in it and grind for a minute. pour it in a container and add the coriander leaves, sesame seeds, mix well.

Heat non stick tava, smear with little oil.  pour one laddleful of batter on the tava, spread in circular motion like you make the normal dosa.  cook both the sides till it is done and serve hot with any kind of chutney, curd, sauce etc.

Your tomato onion rava dosa is ready within half an hours time. do give me your feed back.
