Let us look at the recipe now:
for making pattice:
3 medium size potato boiled, peeled and mashed.
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
salt as per taste
1/2 tsp corn flour
Juice of half lime
a pinch of turmeric powder.
oil for shallow frying.
Method:
Put the mashed aloo in a vessel. add the chopped coriander leaves, salt, lime juice, turmeric powder, corn flour and mix well. make a dough of it. equally divide the same and make small balls out of it. just press between your palm to flatten the same and roll the disc in your hand to make the sides even. heat a tava, apply some oil and place the pattice on it, add some oil and shallow fry them till both the sides becomes brown in colour.
Your pattice is ready.

for making ragada
1/2 cup white watana (dried white peas)
a pinch of turmeric powder
salt as per taste
1/4 tsp chilli powder
Method:
wash and soak the dried peas overnight or for 8 hours. pressure cook them for one whistle with salt, turmeric powder. Should ensure that the same is cooked properly. add the chilli powder and bring to boil and keep aside
Other items required:
chopped tomatoes
chopped onion
chopped coriander leaves
nylon sev
or paani puris puri, sev puris flat puris
chaat masala
roasted cumin powder
black salt
normal salt
sweet chutney
green chutney
theeka chutney
Now making the ragda pattice:
Place two pattice in a deep plate. just cut the pattice into pieces with spoon. Pour the hot ragada on top of the pattice. put tomato chopped, onion chopped on top of it. put black salt, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, sweet chutney, hot theeka chutney, green chutney and mix well. again put chopped onion, tomatoes. top it with nylon sev and coriander leaves and serve hot.
Note: You can also top it with crushed paani puris puri, sev puris flat puri. You can add a dash of lime juice if you wish.
we can make ragada pattice with samosas too. in place of aloo tikki, use the samosas.
