SWEET POTATO LADDU, SHAKARKANDI LADDU, RATALI LADDU, MADHURAKIZHANGU LADDU, SARKARAVALLI KIZHANGU LADDU

Sweet potato laddu is very easy to make.  Now the Navrathri festival is going on, you can give it for Prasad or for fasting people also can have this.





Let us see the recipe now.

Ingredients:

1 small sweet potato
3 tbsp grated jaggery
2 tbsp finely chopped dry fruits
2 tbsp crushed peanuts
cardamom powder
1 tbsp ghee
2-3 tbsp desiccated coconut

Method:


  1. Peel and grate the sweet potato.
  2. Heat ghee in kadai and add the grated potato and saute for 5 minutes.
  3. now add the grated jaggery and saute the same till it is dried up.
  4. add the dry furits, crushed peanuts, cardamom powder and mix well
  5. transfer it on a plate and allow to cool.
  6. make small size laddu out of it and coat with desiccated coconut and serve.

Note:  You can have the mix as it is if you do not want to make the laddu.  In that case, add 2 tbsp grated coconut while adding the jaggery.
