Suva bhajia
kadhi is made with suva bhajia and butter milk.
It is very tasty with pulao, plain rice.
I like any kind of kadhi with pulao and plain rice. Since suva bhaji is not consumed by my family
members, I tried the bhajia and everyone liked it. You may also see the posts of dill leaf dosa, shepuche vade on my blog.

Here is the
kadhi recipe:
Ingredients:
1.
1 cup butter milk
2.
½ tsp ginger, garlic, green chilli paste (you
can increase the quantity according to your taste)
3.
2-3 curry leaves (kariveppila)
4.
1 tsp mustard seeds(kaduku)
5.
¼ tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
6.
1 tsp oil
7.
1 bhor mirch or the normal red chilli
8.
A pinch of asfoetida
9.
Salt as per taste.
10.
8-10 bhajiyas (you can use left over bhajiyas
too)
11.
1 tsp smooth paste of moongdal.(while grinding moongdal, keep one tsp for kadhi)
12.
¼ tsp turmeric powder
13. 1/2 tsp sugar

Method:
1.
Mix the
moongdal paste in the butter milk and keep aside
2.
Heat oil in a kadai.
3.
Add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chilli
4.
When it splutters, add the asfoetida, curry
leaves, ginger garlic paste
5.
Saute for a second
6.
Add the butter milk in it.
7.
Add the turmeric powder, salt, sugar
8.
Simmer
for two minutes.
9.
When it starts foaming, add the bhajias in it
and switch off gas.
10.
Serve hot with
plain rice, pulao.
