BHEL PURI

Bhel puri is a chaat item, street food liked by everyone. If you visit North India, without tasting this item, you will never go back.  This can be made at home also as tasty as the one is available in the street.  Basically, it is made with Murmura, kurmura it is called with masala chana, chopped onion, tomatoes, green coriander with sweet and spicy chutney topped with thin nylon sev.  When you think of it, mouth is watering.  Let us not waste our time to look at the recipe now:




Ingredients:

1 cup kurmura
2 tbsp sweet chutney
1/2 tsp green chutney
1/2 tsp theeka red chutney
1 tsp masala chana
1 tsp peanuts
2 tbsp chopped onion
2 tbsp chopped tomato
1 tsp mashed potatoes (optional)
1/2 tsp finely chopped mango pieces (optional) during the season you can use it.,
black salt, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, lime juice as per taste
2 tbsp nylon sev
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Method

In a wide bowl put the kurmura.  add the chutneys one by one.  add half of onion and tomatoes. add the black salt, chaat masala, cumin powder, lime juice and mix well.  put in a plate, top it with remaining onion, tomato, nylon sev. garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
