Colacasia I Arbi I Chembu subzi is very tasty to serve along with Chapati. Like Potato subzi I have made this dish today. In case you want to add other masalas and prepare you can do so. But today, this is like potato subzi style.
Allam means ginger/adrak. A spicy pickle made out of this goes well with idly, dosa, adai and even with rice, ghee or sesame oil. This is an Andhra delicacy. Since for quite some time, I wanted to try this and could do it only yesterday.
It is made with peeling and crushing ginger and mixing with the tamarind pulp and fried Urid dal, Red chilli, Curry leaves etc.
Thakkali Dosa or Tomato Omlette is made with gram flour. If you have unexpected guests, you can make this instantly if you have the ingredients mentioned below at home. Normally, everyone will have the basic ingredients suggested in this recipe, however, if you do not have, can skip that.
This can be served as Breakfast, Snack with sauce or green chutney.

Ingredients:
1 Cup gram flour/besan/kadala mavu
2 Medium size tomatoes
1 onion
1 Tbsp rice flour
Green chilli or past as per your requirement
Garam Masala as required
Pinch of Hing powder
Roasted cumin powder
Salt
Pinch of Turmeric Powder
Chopped coriander leaves.
Oil
Method:
Step 1
Chop the Tomatoes, Onion, Coriander finely.
Step 2
Mix the Gram flour, rice flour, dry masalas, salt. Add one cup water and keep aside for 5 minutes. Then mix well without any lumps. Add chopped vegetables in it and mix.
Step 3
Heat
tava grease with oil. Spread laddleful of batter on the tava. Let it cook,when the top side becomes dry,drizzle some oil. Flip and cook other side also till brown spots appear on it.
How to serve:
Serve along with sauce or green chutney.

I am very fond of Bitter gourd and made various dishes with it. Here is another dish which is a chutney powder which goes well with dal rice, curd rice, dosa, idli etc. I personally like it. If you are bitter gourd lover, you can try this definitely.
Bitter gourd is
good for health especially for those who are suffering from diabetes. Various
dishes can be made with this. Today, I tried it with curd which was quite tasty
with rice.
I finely chop
them and put in curd with little salt which is my husband's favourite.
I have made few
dishes with bitter gourd and posted in the channel.
Spicy wheat balls are made with wheat flour and some veggies. You can make without veggies also. Add some spices viz. chilli powder, bback pepper powder, green chilli, chopped coriander etc. to make it bit tasty as the wheat flour does not have a taste without these items except for chapati and puri.
This is a wholesome meal as it has dal, wheat flour, veggies and spices and can be served for breakafast, lunch, snack or dinner.
Aloo johol is a dish from Uttar Pradesh. Jhol means a thin gravy. This subzi is served with Rice, Luchi, Puri, Paratha etc. It is quite easy to make and tasty dish too. Everyone like aloo subzi so let us not wait and go to the kitchen for preparing the same.
In this lock down period, it is an easy subzi to make with much lesser ingredients.
