PALAK PANEER DOSA

Instant Palak Paneer dosa I made tonight for a change as we were bored of having chapati everyday.  Since I had palak, paneer and the soaked methi seeds in the fridge, I thought of making this different kind of dosa which was quite tasty with pickle and sambar.

Let us look at the recipe now:

Time taken : 1 hr
yield : 12-15 dosas


Ingredients:

1 cup rice flour
1/2 cup chopped palak tightly packed
1 tsp cumin seeds + 1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp soaked methi seeds
100 gms paneer
1 big onion 
1 big tomato
1 pc ginger
2-3 green chilli or more if you want bit spicy
a pinch of hing powder
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbs grated coconut
salt
oil for making dosa

Method:

cut the tomato into 8 pcs, cut the onion too.  grind together the rice flour, palak, 1 tsp cumin seeds, methi seeds, paneer, onion, tomato, ginger, green chilli hing powder, black pepper, coconut,salt by adding 1 cup water.

Make a smooth dosa batter like the normal dosa batter.rub the cumin seeds between your palm and add to the batter.

heat tava, smear the tava with oil.  pour one laddle ful of batter and spread it like you make the normal dosa.  cook the same till crispy from both the sides. 

How to serve:

serve hot with sambar, chutney, pickle etc.
