carrot capsium pulao is very easy to make and delicious with any kind of raita and papad. rice varieties are many, you can twist and turn to make anything with the rice. even the left over rice can be used.

coming back to the pulao, it is very easy to make.
Let us look at the recipe now:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rice
1 onion chopped finely
1 carrot chopped finely
1 capsicum chopped finely
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1./4 tsp pulao masala
salt
1 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp broken kaju
1 tsp broken badam
1 tsp kishmish
Method:
Cook the rice separately and keep aside. ensure that the grains are separate and not mushy. Heat oil and ghee in kadai. add the kaju and badam and fry, keep aside. add the onion saute for few minutes. add the carrots and capsicum and saute till half done. add the red chilli powder, pulao masala, salt mix well. add the rice, mix well. add in the kaju, badam, kishmish, cover and keep for a minute. switch off flame let it remain for 5 minutes. serve hot with raita.
