MOOLI KE PARATHA

Radish, Mooli it is known as is very good for health.  It helps in curing so many diseases hence once in a week, must include in your diet. It is also part of the salad.  Some people eat the raidsh as we eat the carrot.

Basically, parathas are made for breakfast.  But we prefer to have  parathas any time.  Here is the lovely recipe of mooli paratha.

Ingredients:

3-4 medium size radish
1 and 1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
a pinch of roasted cumin powder
1 tsp ginger garlic and green chilli paste (3 g paste)
1 tbps chopped green coriander leaves.
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp chaat masala

1 onion finely chopped
a pinch of turmeric powder (optional)

salt

oil/ghee for cooking.

Method

 In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients, mix well.  Add water slowly and make a pliable dough.  divide into equal parts depending upon the size of paratha you need. roll them out with rolling pin.  Heat non stick kadai.  cook the paratha from both the sides by drizzling oil or ghee as per your choice.  serve hot with any kind of raita, sauce, pickle, curd etc.

You can also make lachha paratha out of this.

Note:  You can also squeeze out the water of the mooli (radish) and then add.
