SUGAR CRUSH

When I say sugar crush, you must be wondering that I must have made something with sugar.  But it is not, it is a simple preparation of bread and children will like it in their tiffin box.  You can make and keep it in an airtight container for a day as it is not going to last for more than a day.

So let us find out the mystery ahead.

Look at the recipe now:

Ingredients:

5-6 slices of bread (i used brown bread)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp ghee
a pinch of elaichi powder.

Method:

cut the bread into  4-5 strips and cut into cubes.  Heat ghee in  a kadai and put the bread cubes in it.  keep the flame low.  in between keep on stirring otherwise you are likely to burn it. cook the same till it is crisp.  keep aside.  put the sugar and little water in the same kadai, melt it and bring to one or two  thread consistency. add the cardamom powder.    add the crispy bread cubes in it and give a quick stir till it is coated well.  serve immediately or as and when required.
