JACKFRUIT UTTAPPA

Jack fruit uttappa can be made with the batter made for jack fruit dosa.  For making uttappa, I made little masala for it to make it more richer and tastier.



Let us look at the recipe now:

1 cup jack fruit dosa batter
1 big onion chopped
red chilli powder, pepper powder as per taste
1 small potato boiled and mashed (Optional) I did not use.
salt
oil

Method:

Heat the non stick tava.  pour one tsp oil in it.  add the chopped onion, saute for a minute.  add the red chilli powder, bit salt, pepper powder and saute for few seconds and add to the batter.  ( If you are using potato, add the potato after adding the chilli pepper powder. add some chopped coriander leaves too.) mix the batter well.

apply oil on non stick tava.  pour one laddle ful of batter and spread slightly as you make the normal uttappa. cook both the sides till crispy.  serve  hot with chutney, sambar.

Note:  I made mini uttappas and topped with jam, chunda, milagaipodi mix, curd, red chutney, green chutney etc.
