Wild lime leaves are part of Thai dishes. In South India, we use it for making Veppila Katti.
Apart from this, we use the leaves in buttermilk also.
I used the same to make chutney and it was awesome.
Let us look at the recipe now:
Ingredients: Grated Coconut 1/4 cup Wild lime leaves - 1/2 cup A small piece of tamarind 1-2 tbsp Roasted gram A small piece of ginger
2-3 Green chilli
Salt Optional Tempering: 1 tsp Oil, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, a small piece of broken chilli, 1/2 tsp Urid dal, few curry leaves.
Method:
Step 1
Break the lime leaves from the vain. Put all the ingredients in the mixer pot and grind to a coarse or fine paste as you wish.
How to serve:
Serve with Idli, Dosa, Upma
