VEGETABLE PICKLE WITH OUT OIL AND SPICE

I am a big fan of pickle and love to eat with anything and everything.  I happened to eat the vegetable pickle in a friend's place, I thought will try it.  I added whatever was available at home and made it but was really tasty and enjoyed.  

Unlike other pickles we make for storing for years together, this has got very less shelf  like and have to consume it within a week's time.

Let us look at the recipe now:




Ingredients:

1/4 cup carrot cut into cubes
1/4 cup radish cut into cubes
1/4 cup turnip cut into cubes
3-4 green chilli (less spice one)
1 tsp crushed black pepper
1/4 tsp methi dana
1/4 tsp rai dana
1" piece ginger finely sliced (you can also use mango ginger)
2-3 lime finely chopped
2-3 lime for juice
salt
a pinch of  turmeric

Method:

Step 1

Cut the lemon, squeeze the juice and set aside.

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, keep in hot sun for 2-3 days. Mix every day.  Within 3-4 days, you can start using this crunchy, sour pickle.
